Each year CAGD donates a considerable portion of our membership dues to local charities.

The CAGD Executive Committee met on January 7, 2019 to discuss upcoming 2019 business, which included deciding on our 2019 charitable contributions.

The board overwhelmingly voted to donate to two local charities:

• Desert Machie’s Junior Program
• Junior Golf Association of Arizona

These two organizations provide equipment, facilities and mentors to encourage and support young people to get involved with the game of golf, particularly those who might not otherwise have an opportunity to play

In addition to teaching the game itself, both organizations help the young players learn etiquette and lessons that can be used throughout their lives.
