Papago Golf Club’s story begins with its creator, William Francis (Billy) Bell, the genius behind San Diego’s famed Torrey Pines. Bell’s knack for designing courses that blend seamlessly with their surroundings is evident in Papago, offering golfers unrivaled views of the iconic Arizona Papago Buttes, Camelback Mountain, and the vibrant Downtown Phoenix skyline.

Recently chosen as the new home for Arizona State University’s men’s and women’s golf teams, “The all-new Papago” has become a hub for golfing excellence. The addition of the mid-century modern Lou Grubb Clubhouse, featuring the trendy Lou’s Bar & Grill, and Evie’s Pavilion for group events gave Papago a modern twist while retaining its classic charm.

Important Registration & Payment Information

• To play in any tournament all entries must be a current member by the first day of the tournament registration..
• Entries will be accepted via regular US mail.
• Mail your entry form and ONE check for the full amount of the two-person entry, payable to CAGD.
• Entries received prior to the first day of the Registration Period will be DISCARDED. (Sender will be notified).
• All late entries will be DISCARDED. (Sender will be notified).
• All entries will be processed after the last day of Registration.
• If at the end of the Registration Period, we have received more entries than spots available, a random drawing will determine which teams are placed on the waiting list. (Wait list teams will be notified.)
